GIVE TO PHARMACY AND PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES

Your support for one of the faculty’s key priority funds will improve the health of communities across Australia and around the world by enabling better pharmacy and pharmaceutical science education and research.

  • MyDispense is a free, online pharmacy simulation that allows students to develop and practise their dispensing skills in a safe environment. Since 2016, the faculty has supported educators from low-income countries to attend the biennial MyDispense Symposium, enabling them to network and share best practice with colleagues from around the world. In doing so, they build health system capacity in their home countries by improving the quality of pharmacy education. You can support us to continue - or even expand - this initiative, supporting communities where the need is most acute.

  • The Neuromedicines Discovery Centre is a catalyst for discovering and translating a new generation of trusted, evidence-based medicines and therapies for those experiencing mental health conditions. It aims to deliver new and effective mental health treatments in an equitable and accessible manner as a key to better health, preventing absenteeism and protecting jobs.

  • The Inhaled Oxytocin Project has developed a powder version of oxytocin, the gold-standard treatment used to prevent excessive bleeding in women after childbirth. As this inhalable formulation does not need to be refrigerated or administered by a trained medical professional, it can be readily available to people in developing countries. You can support us in continuing our research to ensure a brighter future for many women, children and families around the world.

  • Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Foundation manages donations from alumni, friends and industry partners who want our faculty to maintain its reputation for innovative educational programs, world-class teaching and research facilities, and quality graduates. You can help us continue to lead the way in pharmacy and pharmaceutical science education, practice and research by supporting our fundraising activities.
